06Professional Highlights

Even a Shark needs the right team to get it done.

A defragmentation story across a whole career: Brad has worked for the biggest companies in the world and founded volunteer-run nonprofits that still thrive together.

Shark Tank CEO Robert Herjavec

Herjavec Group

Brad’s first role after 15 years at Dell was with Shark Tank’s Robert Herjavec, who asked Brad to optimize Business Development efforts at his largest company, Herjavec Group. Brad brought revenue optimization skills across sales, ops, strategy and success — and the company was acquired shortly after, with its acquisition by Cyderes announced in early 2021.

Sales program accelerator

Amazon and Blink

Brad oversaw the sales program accelerator for Amazon’s fastest-growing product line, Blink Home Security Cameras — optimizing at the edge of an enterprise known for optimizing. Blink was acquired a few years before he arrived, and he could still see the transition happening through growth, learning from the smartest and fastest product group at Amazon.

Enterprise defragmentation for nonprofits

QWELL Community Foundation

Brad is bringing his complex enterprise defragmentation experience to researching 3,000+ organizations — finding where operations efforts are duplicated and where the best ideas struggle to scale efficiently.

Founder and advisor

Startups

Brad’s startup experience is expansive when the threads connect: Herjavec Group was acquired shortly after his efforts, Blink was still scaling through its post-acquisition transition, and now he advises early-stage startups and nonprofits on how to set themselves up for success.

Proof that you can build community while fueling your ambitions and helping great ideas scale to millions.

At Today’s Growth Partners, clients get access to the person the biggest companies have relied on to lead complex, fragmented business units that need to be optimized — helping each company achieve its forecasted goals.

A silver Weimaraner sitting tall
Illustrative Weimaraner, not Sharps himself.

07Why Silver Sharps?

Brad is a lover of animals. Sharps is the name of the Weimaraner he wanted as a teenager — and as an adult, he decided not to be responsible for that much energy. Silver is the color of a Weimaraner. Sharps is also the name of a zero-alcohol beer Brad would sneak a taste of when his uncle was in town once a year.

  • Brad with an elephant at a sanctuary
  • Brad crouching beside a kangaroo
  • Brad with a sleeping tiger cub
  • Brad smiling with a goat

No Weimaraner yet — but plenty of animal friends along the way.
